WHO WE ARE

At Bibby Financial Services, we have been funding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) since 1982. We are part of Bibby Line Group which has been in business for over two centuries and which has companies in financial services, distribution, retail, shipping, marine and construction.

We are a truly global business operating throughout Europe and Asia with more than 1,200 employees worldwide.

Our history

Bibby Line Group establishes a factoring business in Liverpool

Founded in 1807, the group is one of the longest established family businesses in the UK

1985

The birth of a new financial services business

The factoring business is migrated to a wholly owned subsidiary named Bibby Financial Services

bibby opens new offices in two continents 2002

2002

New offices opened on two different continents

Bibby Financial Services opens in Warsaw, Poland, and Florida, US

bibby opens in france 2006

2006

Offices openings in France, Ireland and Canada

During 2005-06 offices open in Lyon, Dublin and Toronto

bibby expands to eastern european market 2007

The company expands into the East European markets

The Czech Republic and Slovakia offices open

Further growth of the company with new premises and acquisitions

A new office is opened in Dusseldorf, Germany, while the business completes several company acquisitions

Company adds to its presence in Asia

Bibby Financial Services opens its door to business in Singapore

bibby opens in malaysia 2015

New offices opened in Malaysia and the Netherlands

Bibby Financial Services also launches its Foreign Exchange service

New Bibby Financial Services offices opened in Wales

The company also launches its Stock Finance service
